Private Jet Services Group Makes Christmas Come Early to New Hampshire SPCA

Seabrook, NH (PRWEB) December 12, 2011

Private Jet Services Group (PJS), one of North America?s largest air charter services firms, announced today a donation to New Hampshire Seacoast?s Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The gift allows NHSPCA to start work on a planned isolation center, a much needed space where contagious and seriously ill animals receive care and treatment.

Wayne Whicher, Financial Controller and Director of Corporate Giving for Private Jet Group, which includes Private Jet Services Group, Private Jet Commercial Group, and Private Jet Management Group stated, ?As the end of Fiscal Year 2011 neared, PJS wanted to identify a local organization in need, and help make their holiday wishes come true.?

Sheila Ryan, Director of Development and Marketing for New Hampshire SPCA, writes, ?New Hampshire SPCA proudly cares for between 3,000-4,000 animals each year in our open admission, unlimited stay facility. We are committed to finding a forever home for every adoptable animal that comes through our doors. Our adoption rate is now 97%, one of the highest rates in the entire country!? Ryan continued, ?One of our biggest challenges is keeping the animals in the shelter healthy. Some weeks we have over 350 animals to care for and their health and wellbeing is the number one priority. This year, we identified a need to improve our facility?s ability to care for very sick or very young animals. These two groups have extreme needs, both in terms of medical care and also time to heal or grow.
